Our Curriculum

We teach mindfulness and coping skills as well as offer resources to continue proven practices to reduce anxiety and lower toxic stress levels associated with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C/PTSD). The skills we teach in mind matters can easily be passed along to friends and caregivers within the communities we serve.

Who Can Attend?

We serve Los Angeles County and its bordering counties. Our program consists of six classes over three weeks, but we can also adapt the program to accommodate the needs of community members. Our curriculum is tailored to the needs of foster youth, but all youth, caregivers, and supportive adults are welcome to join us.

When Are The Workshops?

We schedule a monthly 3-week series of workshops which run every month except December.  We meet on Zoom from 5pm-6:30pm on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Please click the button below if you are an individual looking to enroll. If you would like to schedule classes at your school, work, or facility, please reach out to mm@communitycollege.org
