FOR ACTIVE INTERNS
I need help with my resume, can InternSource help?
Definitely! The InternSource has qualified staff on hand to help you edit your resume. Our staff also offers great tips on interviewing and landing that job!
Can InternSource help me with questions about college and transferring?
InternSource can help but we like to leave some questions to the experts – your college advisors! InternSource has relationships with over 100 colleges throughout California. We can provide you contact information for people on your campus who can help. We also provide links on our website that can assist you with these questions.
TCCF is my Employer of Record, what does this mean?
As InternSource is a program of TCCF, we would be your Employer of Record. TCCF issues your paycheck, maintains your personnel file and handles employment issues such as workers’ compensation and unemployment claims for your work site. For example, verification of your employment would be done through TCCF InternSource.
When do I receive a raise?
TCCF and InternSource do not set your rate of pay. You need to speak to your worksite supervisor and/or coordinator if you believe you are entitled to a change in pay. Raises are not guaranteed or automatic.
It’s payday and I have not received my paycheck. What should I do?
If you do not have direct deposit, you are relying on the US Postal Service for delivery of your check. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before calling InternSource. Paychecks and direct deposit receipts are mailed to the address you provided on your W-4 form. Please make sure InternSource has your correct address. Additionally, please consider direct deposit for assurance that your check is in your account on payday!
What do I need to do if I move or change my phone number?
InternSource should have your current address and phone number on file as it is required by law. It is your responsibility to get this information to InternSource. We will provide an Information Change Request form that you may complete and mail or fax back to us.
