Fifth Third Bank and the Charlotte Housing Authority are presenting a free Community Wellness Day at Southside Park on Oct. 8 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Baby City: Pregnancy Resource Day helps young, at-risk parents in Santa Maria

“Baby City” came to Santa Maria Wednesday. A number of community groups gathered for this event, which provides help for foster youth and at-risk parents. Local organizations were on hand to answer any questions. Organizers also held workshops on domestic violence, family law, and medical care.
